New Jersey is in the middle of a major wave of redevelopment. Towns and cities across the state are reimagining downtowns, revitalizing business districts, investing in housing, and modernizing infrastructure. But even the strongest projects can be slowed or derailed by community concerns, inconsistent zoning, fragmented communication, political risk, financing challenges, or administrative delays. Developers, municipalities, labor, and community partners often work in different lanes, creating gaps that cost time, money, and public trust.

The New Jersey Redevelopment Coalition was created to solve that problem. We are a statewide, cross-sector alliance designed to bring every essential part of redevelopment under one coordinated roof. The Coalition integrates capital, government affairs, public relations, technical expertise, community engagement, zoning strategy, ESG planning, and workforce partnerships into a streamlined, unified system. This structure gives projects clarity, credibility, and cohesion from the moment they are conceptualized to the moment they break ground.

Our mission is to modernize and accelerate redevelopment across New Jersey by removing barriers, improving coordination, and strengthening the relationship between developers, local governments, labor, and communities. We believe that redevelopment works best when it is transparent, collaborative, and rooted in long-term economic and social value for the people who live and work here.

The Coalition is committed to redevelopment that is union built and prevailing wage, energy efficient and aligned with modern ESG standards, community driven and responsive to local needs, and financially sustainable for both the public and private sectors. We are building a statewide framework where projects move more efficiently, earn community trust, and deliver lasting impact.
